Born within the renovation of Villino Ferrero, the Lama table is a refined exercise in balance that challenges perception. Where solid oak would suggest weight and mass, the design introduces a decisive oblique saw cut that sharpens the perimeter: a 3 cm solid core that visually tapers to just a few millimetres, floating with surprising lightness above its structure.
The base pays tribute to the cultured tradition of 20th-century Italian design masters. Industrial stainless-steel profiles are paired in twin elements, accommodating within their hollow core — with millimetric precision — the T-shaped feet and structural crossbars.
The exposed bolts are not merely fixing elements, but narrative details that celebrate the mechanics of the project. Lama does not impose its mass upon the space; instead, it moves through it with technical and timeless grace, elevating the living material of wood through a sharp, rigorous profile.
